Let's Go Snorkeling

There are not many areas with the visibility under water that Cozumel offers. At the right sites you can see quite a bit of marine life from the comfort of the surface. Join us for a snorkeling tour. We only do private and semi-private snorkel tours. You are never on a snorkel cattle boat with dozens or 50+ snorkelers in the water with you. Snorkeling is $70 ea and private charters start at $500 (just your group on the boat).

What to expect:

  • A total trip time of approximately 4 hours (includes travel time to/from and between snorkel sites).
  • Depending on the quality of the snorkeling we are experiencing, we will snorkel 2-3 reef sites (if the marine life at a particular site is fantastic we will spend more time).
  • Enjoy fresh fruit, snacks, and filtered water on board.
  • All necessary gear is included.
  • Small groups. These are semi-private snorkel tours (you are not with dozens of other snorkelers). You will get non-rushed quality snorkel time.

Things to bring with you:

  • Towel, rash guard, hat. The boat has a lot of shade but depending on the angle of the sun you may still want your own shade.
  • Dry shirt to change into when the tour is done.

This tour leaves out of the Asipona marina just south of the cruise ship terminal. Our boat map

**Please note a holiday surcharge ($20) on 12/25 and 1/1 where Reef Riders pays double time to their employees for leaving their families to help create a great snorkel on the holiday.

Because we only do private and semi-private tours we do not always have a snorkel tour everyday during the slow seasons. If there are less than 4 snorkelers for a particular day we can often make the snorkel tour still happen if you wish to pay for a private guide ($80 cost). This is quite a special experience anyways, just your group and the snorkel guide in the water.

Please send us the following and we will do our best to make a snorkel trip memorable for you:

How are you arriving?

When arriving by cruise ship or ferry there are plenty of taxis waiting for passengers when you disembark. You simply ask the taxi to take you to Asipona Marina (just a few minutes to the south). There are also taxis at the marina for your return. This map will take you right to our boat: https://reefriders.net/boat
