Looking for a lil Adventure?
Adventure dives require Advanced Open Water or at least 30 logged dives, and Nitrox certification (get your Nitrox certification from us before you dive, see Dive Training). Adventure dives visit dive sites that may have a deeper dive profile, more current, and because of these things these sites also have less dive visitors. During the right season (Oct-Apr) the Eagle Ray dive can be fantastic. Feeling even more adventurous? Let’s go hunt lion fish and look for bigger sea life on the north side of the island! Nitrox is included in the pricing of these dives.
These dives are very much weather and diver skill dependent. Please contact us directly to see about organizing a diver group for these dive sites, or plan it with us while you are diving.
- Tours begin at Fonatur marina https://reefriders.net/boat
- We can do pickups from docks in the marine park, and outside the marine park for groups, when arranged before hand.
- Morning tours leave at 8:30am and return around 12:30pm. Afternoon tours leave at 1:30pm and return around 5:30pm.
- Boat diving is done within the Marine Park (unless otherwise agreed upon).
- We aim for 60 minute bottom time, of course this depends on diver air consumption.
- Small groups <=8 (if you have only been on big boats, you will soon have a new love of small groups).
- 60 minute surface interval between dives.
- Complete setup, cylinder swap, and clean up of gear. Just come ready to enjoy a beautiful dive!
- Cold water, fresh fruit, snacks on board the boat.
- Expert and knowledgeable staff that know the dive sites, the marine life, and they are eager to share their knowledge.
- Reef Riders wants safe dive experiences, so we require the use of dive computers. If you do not have one, we rent them for $10/day.
- Rental gear is not included, but top of the line Aqua Lung gear is available for $25/day. 20% discount on gear rentals for 5+ days.
