Curious but not a Cerfitied Diver... yet
You have seen those clunky tanks and the funny walks people do when they are wearing fins and try to walk. Maybe you have snorkeled and saw some beautiful sea life and curious if it is any better below the surface? Or maybe you arrived in Cozumel, you have seen the blue clear water and thought “I should have got certified before I got here”. If you have concerns about getting certified, or maybe you didn’t plan enough time, Discover Scuba is a fantastic way for a non-certified diver to get the opportunity.
The process starts at a beach side where your instructor will teach lessons about the basics of diving, diving equipment, clearing ears, clearing a mask, descending/surfacing, etc. Then you will enter the shallow water and practice these skills. Once the instructor is comfortable with your learning you will explore the rest of the sea life in the area and you will be ready for the next step (if you want it, and we hope you will) a boat dive!
