It was so AMAZING and I can't recommend it enough. It was something I wanted to do my whole life but was a bit nervous about actually doing it. Ramon, our instructor, was very knowledgeable and made us feel very comfortable. Our last immersion was more like a real dive and the biodiversity we saw in Cozumel (Ramon points out the cool things) along with the clarity of the water in Cozumel made the experience SO special. I literally think about it every day and can't wait to have another opportunity to do it. Sadly I live in Canada but I'm already planning my next trip. For anyone reading this, if you're thinking of doing it, DON'T HESITATE, but also do it with a high quality and trustable company like this one. I hope this helps somebody. Reef Riders is THE BEST dive experience I have ever had with a dive master. Ramone was amazing. So nice and patient and extremely knowledgeable. He was good at pointing out a ton of marine life. They provided sandwiches and fresh fruit. Their equipment was brand new including BCD and wetsuits. We went on a girls trip to Cancun and Cozumel with other companies and Reef Riders is the only place I would go back to. Just go! So chill, the boat and equipment were in great condition, and Ramon was very personable and patient with the new divers. Everything we needed was on the boat and ready to go when we arrived. He took us where we wanted, kept us down as long as we had air for, and even asked our vegan friend what he could do to make the experience better for vegans in the future. Plus, he held on to her when she was nervous about her remaining air and staying down for the safety stop. Ramone, our snorkeling guide, and Capt. Javier took good care of us. Can’t emphasize enough what a professional operation these guys provide. Their new boat is clean, well-organized, covered and has two engines to get you to the snorkel or dive spot quickly. After El Cielo was closed due to weather, they took us to three other reefs farther north of El Cielo that offered some of the best snorkeling we’ve ever done. We managed to see three stunning Eagle Rays, three Moray Eels, countless species of fish and beautiful coral. The delicious fish ceviche and guacamole made by Capt. Boat was spectacularly maintained, food was delicious, sites were magical, information and knowledge shared was top tier, and the patience shown to our least adventurous child was sincere.
