My husband and I are certified divers and got to dive near by with Mariana. Our second dive we all got to dive together. It was an experience my kids will never forget! I was a little apprehensive at first to send the kids without prior diving experience, but Ramon and his team very professional and truly put their safety first. Incredible snorkeling and scuba diving with Ramon and Reef Riders, would 100% recommend! Ramon is patient, helpful, and understanding. He really went out of this way to make the experience fun for my wife and I. Some highlights of the experience below: - Top notch boat and captain, basically new and has many improvements to make the experience great for travelers. For example, the boat floor is entirely covered with comfortable gripped surface so you won't slip while on the boat. And probably the cleanest boat I've ever been on for diving / snorkeling). - His equipment is amazing too, for a tour. His fins have elastic backs so they fit comfortably in any size. His snorkels and masks are not the cheapo ones but high quality. He also provides lots of soap + glasses cleaner for the masks (small things matter!) - Great knowledge of the reef, fish, and area. Was also conscious of the environment, I really appreciated that. His overall enthusiasm for diving & snorkeling made it really fun. - Really kind of him to also give us a ride back into town. Totally unnecessary but he really is that kind of a person. - We were so thrilled we signed up for scuba diving the next day and received the utmost kindness and patience while teaching my wife the Discover Scuba experience. My wife and I arrived on a cruise ship this morning and went on a snorkeling trip with Ramon and Javier, and I can’t say enough about what an amazing experience it was! We booked the 3 stop snorkeling trip and spent a couple of unforgettable hours in the water. From the moment we arrived at the boat, we felt welcomed, safe, and completely comfortable. You can tell right away that Ramon is dedicated to giving you the best experience possible. On the ride to our first stop, Ramon took the time to teach us some great tips and tricks for using the snorkel gear. He showed us how to wear it comfortably, how to enter the water safely, and walked us through the entire game plan from start to finish. I should add that the gear we were provided was excellent and was better than anything we’ve used before. We were with another couple, and it was clear that Ramon paid close attention to everyone’s skill level, making sure we were always comfortable and confident in the water. Once we got in, Ramon was an incredible guide, pointing out so many amazing things. We saw stingrays, multiple turtles, puffer fish, and hundreds of beautiful tropical fish. We left this snorkeling trip with huge smiles on our faces and couldn’t stop talking about how it was the highlight of our vacation. We’re already thinking about coming back to Cozumel next year to vacation and try the beginner scuba diving classes with Ramon at Reef Riders. If I could, I’d give Reef Riders, Ramon, and Javier 10 stars out of 5! Exceptionally great service!! It was our 2nd trip diving. We dove 4 days with Reef Riders. We were truly amazed at how genuinely caring, attentive, helpful and professional Ramon was. Top class service from the very first moment meeting till the last dive. The boat Sea Car is extremely nice and comfortable. The captain was also very involved with helping divers with gear and getting in and out of the water. If you have your own gear and are diving for several days, Ramon provides full service with taking care of your gear. You leave it on the boat after diving and come back the next day to your gear all set up for you to dive again. This was a very nice touch and made our great diving experience even greater. We dove different sites on every dive (total of 8) and saw lots of marine life, coral reef walls and a sunken ship. Swimming through coral reef passages and inside the ship was amazing. Highly recommend booking your scuba trip with Reef Riders and Ramon. It is really hard to find enough nice words to express our amazing experience. Thank you so much, Ramon! I can’t say enough about what a wonderful experience it was booking the private snorkel trip with Jhony as our guide along with Ramón whom I communicated with several times to make sure all my questions and concerns were addressed. I was worried about booking an excursion not through our cruise line but Ramón was very flexible with our meet up time so we didn’t have to stress about missing out if it took a little longer to disembark from our cruise. It was a very easy and quick cab ride to the marina where they are located, there’s no extra fees involved that a few other operators charge when I was looking around. Most importantly this is such a great value having the whole boat to yourself and being flexible with staying in a location longer if there is so much to see and not feeling rushed to the next site and tailoring the experience to what you are interested in. Jhony was incredibly knowledgeable and patient with my 4 kids and even let my son swim around with and take pictures with his gopro. The guacamole and snacks were amazing and it was made even better as we ate off a floating table surrounded by stingrays in the clearest water I’ve ever seen! Honestly we had thought we were gonna be with a larger group and it turned out it was just us! Also got my nitrox certification and Ramon was a wonderful help with learning how to check the levels and everything! Once in the water, we had gotten to see a bit of everything (nurse shark, lobster, turtle, ray, and plenty of fish!) In between our dives, we had gotten to relax and have a beautiful little lunch. Then back into the water!
